Historical

TEDOTEC (Trachet Enterprise Developers Of TEchnical Coatings) comes from a long family tradition in the field of anti-corrosion and waterproofing.

From the beginning of the 1930s, Jacques J. TRACHET obtained the distribution of DENSO products for the Benelux, France and French-speaking North Africa. It began production under license in 1935. The creation of the ETAE company in 1939 marked the start of operations in France.

Geographical expansion continued after the war with the creation of the companies IMBEMA in the Netherlands in 1947 and TRAITAL in Italy in 1973.

In 1977, his son Jean-Claude succeeded him at the head of the company, which developed new products and services: sealing of gas networks, detection of leaks, manufacture and installation of industrial floor coverings.

In 1998, the third generation created BJC-TRACHET, today TEDOTEC, as technical and commercial support for the development of industrial coatings. TEDOTEC puts its know-how at the service of leading manufacturers and ensures the distribution of innovative solutions for the protection of metal structures and the maintenance of roads.
